Our subsidiary company Gelder and Kitchen Construction Management acts as co-ordinator for our Clients' projects.
Each project is divided into a series of works packages and these are then tendered for by individual contractors. Rather than the traditional route of having one main contractor, our Construction Managers provide a professional management framework which co-ordinates and monitors all the contractors.
In line with new CDM 2007 legislation, our Co-ordinators also advise and assist Clients on Health and Safety matters relating to all sectors of construction schemes.
This type of procurement is much more flexible and transparent than traditional methods. It allows an earlier start on site and accommodates changes more easily. Importantly, if there are any cost variations, these can clearly be attributed to the relevant contractor ensuring 'open book' control of the project.
